NSF – Scientific Immigration Example
This is a small snippet from Part 1 The Vital Role of International Collaboration training module below. Our goal was to provide some basic history of the importance of international collaborations by pointing to examples of immigrants to America who made a significant contribution to the U.S. research ecosystem. This part contains 18 short slides that give a good example of the approach to sharing information and providing differing learning opportunities.
NSF Research Security Training
This module is a part of the National Science Foundation (NSF)
grant to provide training to research scientists, administrators, and students
on the significance of principled international collaboration as a crucial
factor for success.
This module adopts a learner-centered approach, integrating interactive multimedia elements to enhance engagement. Real-world examples and case studies will be employed to illustrate the concepts, making the content relatable and applicable to diverse scenarios.
LEAN Example
This program was developed in conjunction with our LEAN. implementation team. They wanted a module for staff who could not attend their face-to-face training sessions.
Sepsis Early Recognition Example
Clinical staff lacked training in how to recognize Sepsis symptoms. All too often, the diagnosis was made by ICU and ED staff after admission, and by this time Sepsis is more difficult to treat.

Bricklaying Example
We wanted to create short eLearning modules that could be accessed outside the home or classroom to allow students to revisit elements of competency. The focus would be on background knowledge, terminology, and instructor skill demonstrations.
This led to the creation of formative assessments that focused on assuring the background knowledge and terminology confirmed before the student undertook knowledge and skill based summative assessments. Instructors could then spend less time demonstrating and more time identifying skill gaps and conducting skill demonstrations as a part of summative assessment.
This module is just one example of that product.
Harassment Example
Sample slide from our harassment training program. Video contains a short formative assessment. The review prepares managers for more complex scenarios later in the module. The training was a partial response to the 2016 EEOC report on sexual harassment training and the feeling that previous harassment training modules had not provided enough examples of what is and isn't harassment
Emergency Codes Job Aid
This elearning was intended as a Job Aid. Many staff in the hospital were unfamiliar with our Emergency Code system. This was to replace/supplement the existing bulletin board aid that was found in various points within the hospital. The hope was that staff could pull it up on their phone and quickly find instructions on what to do.
